Rochdale Chairman and Founder Carl Acebes sought a name for his investment boutique that would represent people working collectively toward a common goal. The Rochdale Principles – the operating doctrine of the Cooperative Movement – authored in the township of Rochdale, England in 1844 was Mr. Acebes’s inspiration.
Since its founding, the boutique approach of Rochdale has exemplified these cooperative principles.
